Since its founding, ENVision - the Hough Group has been known for its leadership in strategic environmental and community planning, including: greenway and open space system studies, visual impact assessments, and participation in environmental assessments. The firm has been instrumental on some of the earliest greenway planning and environmental demonstration projects along the Lake Ontario Waterfront, and within its watersheds. Through its municipal and regional planning work, the firm develops environmental and open space strategies and policies, contributing to the design of healthy communities that serve physical, economic and social needs.
